Framing
Elements
Conservation - Kathleens’ Gallery & Framing uses only the highest
quality, museum standard materials to ensure the total conservation of your
artwork.
Multiple Openings - We use a computerized mat cutting system that enables
the framing to display multiple images, as well as create specialized designs in
the matboard.
Shadow Box Framing - This technique enables us to frame 3D objects using
deep frames. This is ideal for a sports jersey, christening gown, medals of
honor, etc.
Fillets - This small decorative frame is used to enhance the overall
beauty and to add focus to the image being framed.
Dry Mounting - Technique used to adhere, flatten and laminate
posters/photographs onto backer board. This prevents wrinkles and creases.
Art Resource / In-Home Consultation - You may simply require the
rematting/reframing of existing artwork, or perhaps you need many new pieces and
are not sure where to start the process. Kathleens’ would be delighted to show
you an extensive library of images or assist in helping you locate particular
images as your job requires.
Kathleens’ can also provide information on the addition of selected pieces to
compliment your present collection of art. We offer in home design consultation
services.
